Back in 2000, I had a whistle called the “Saturday Night Special Whistle”.
The building in which the whistle is built used to be used to make ammunition, but today we have another use for cartridge brass - making whistles.
The high whistles took a number of changes becoming the Series II and Series III whistles between 2001 to 2004. The Series III will continue to be produced as well.
This name is being brought back into service as the Series 4 - Saturday Night Special Whistle. The headjoint is fully compatible with Series III tonebodies.
The beak is longer than the Series III and made of Acetal or Delrin.
