I would like to hear your experiences with midinotate, am considering getting the program (first do the trial version of course).
Does it do what they promise it will do?
Or do you recomment a different program instead which does the same thing, if so, which?

I use and like midinotate.
You can change instruments, slow down, speed up, etc,
and being a music reader, print any midi I find,
which is pretty much any tune you can name.
( I just know one of you guys is going to name something
obscure 
)
I think it is worth the money - in my foolish opinion 
I also use tabulature karaoke - search for it on google -
to print out tab for some tunes, but midinotate is first choice.

I would like to go the other way. ie get a midi file from the notation.
abc2midi would be good … later: I googled abc2midi and see it already exists.

I have used both of these programs and they both work very well. Both allow you to change and add multiple instruments, eliminate instruments, and print out what you need. Now when doing a cost comparison..I believe the midinotate is $29.00 where as Harping is a bit more. Final opinion..you really can’t go wrong with either program…good luck.
I thought Midinotate was that stuff to regrow hair on bald heads…
