I was at the first of the concerts of Comhaltas’s 2009 North American Tour last evening. Excellent.
The piper is Padraig Sinnott. The tour will be playing in Montreal this evening (Thursday), Ottawa on Friday and then continuing on for 7 more nights, going as far as Winnipeg.
The musicians usually have an informal session after the formal concert and local musicians are invited.
