If you haven’t already been following the devastating floods in Colorado, affecting some of our Chiff board friends directly, here is a recent summary. Nearly 19,000 homes damaged or destroyed, 11,000 people evacuated, 1200 people unaccounted for (hopefully in shelters). We are fortunate here in Fort Collins that besides record high river elvels, mainly have suffered bridge closures and some business and home floodings, but our nearby neighboring communities not so lucky. Even 15 national Guardsmen were stranded last night in Lyons, and they are rescuing them this morning.
