Collagist seeks help

I do digital collages, that is collections of images woven together digitally to make a (hopefully) pleasing arrangement.

I want to make one for my whistle teacher for Christmas, so I am looking for images I can use…preferably sort of artsy things.

Whistles, whistlers etc

If you know of any sources please let me know. (I already have the Dover book on Music)

-The URL for the Burke Pennywhistle Art page is below-there are some appropriate images, but check w/Michael Burke
to make sure no copyright problems exist with your use of the images.

-Likewise, the Freeway Whistler- a great image, but one you must seek permission from the artist to use:

-Maybe even the C & F “Lady of the Lake” (whistle in hand coming out of the water)-but not without Dale’s O.K., and that of the artist as well.

Another place you can look is the “image” search on Google.

Go to http://www.google.com, and along the tabs toward the top, click on the images. Then you can do a search for “whistles”, and variations thereof.

To be sure, you do need to make sure that the images you find aren’t copyrighted, but other than that, you should find quite a few!
