Cochran Pratten in delrin for Christmas!

I finally got to open and really try out my new Cochran Pratten in delrin, and I’m very impressed! Once I found the sweet spot, this flute can really honk! I had Jon make the Pratten with a two piece body for adjustabilty, ant it’s a beautiful flute! It’s very well finished and looks great with the silver rings. It’s very comfortable to hold and it has a bit less of a stretch than my friend’s Hamilton. I’m very happy with the new flute! I will try to post some pictures in the next few days after the holiday craziness has died down.

Congrats on your new Cochran Pratten, Bob! Sounds like another winner from Ol’ Jon. Not surpising, but good to hear anyway. That’s a nice option of getting the body split, and necessary for some.

Well, I tried taking some pictures of my flute, but they basically sucked! They definately didn’t do justice to Jon’s work.
