Clare Jig variations

The Cd Celtic Sessions Na Connerys track 5 has the Clare Jig on it.
I have transcribed the first 4 bars as:

E3 GF#E| BAB DBA| B3 B3| GF#G AF#D|

I have also downloaded two versions (the dots) which do not agree with this one. So can anybody complete my effort or point me to the right place to find Na Connerys version? I would be most grateful as I would like to play along with the Cd having achieved the pinacle of playing along with the Kesh which comes next but one on the CD.

Look under the title Gallagher’s frolics for a basic version.

Around here, “[Jimmy] Ward’s Favourite” and “mug of brown ale” are referred to as “clare jig #1” and “clare jig #2”. Funny, I’d never heard of Gallagher’s Frolics referred to as that. Great tune…

Many thanks. Gallagher’s Frolics is the one.

I really like Gallagher’s Frolics. The ‘B’ part is delightful.

There’s another tune which usually is nameless but Paddy Canny recorded it as the Goat in the Green, which starts of much the same as Gallagher’s second part but played in the lower octave and a lovely turn to boot. Worth checking out. A version appeared in an article about James Kelly’s music in ‘Ceol’
