My C.J. Dixon chanter arrived today…beautiful. Rosewood w/imitation ivory…I can’t wait to hear how it sounds. But have to wait for the bag/bellows to arrive 1st. 
Also just received “New Approach to Uilleann Piping” by H.J. Clarke…hope it’s as helpful as it seems once I start. Maybe I’ll try to get a picture of my set once it’s whole. (well, not really whole…but complete practice set.)

I bet its pretty frustrating having the chanter and not being able to practice it.

It is frustrating…I’ve been practicing fingering the chanter already…trying to keep my fingers straight, cover the holes, etc. Gotta hear it to know if I’ve got the seal, though.
