I’d just like to say that you probably won’t go wrong with one of their sets. The piper from Lunasa uses a Alain Froment set and I’ve heard a Cillian O’Briain set once and was blown away at how good they are. I’d imagine their waiting lists would be just as long though so it depends on how long you’re prepared to wait. I heard Geoff Woolfe for example has a 20 year waiting list!
If you find out how long their waiting lists are, let me know.

I’m not sure Alain will take orders anymore in the near future…
20 years? It would probably be quicker to learn to make your own pipes, launch yourself into a career of as a fulltime pipemaker, perfect your technique, build your reputation, get rich, lose it all, get rich again, marry well, divorce well, go on a 9 month bender, sober up, get back to your roots, start making pipes again, become a legendary pipemaker in your own lifetime, and finally, make your own full set. 
By the way, would this 20 years be included in the 21 years it takes to become a piper?

Nope. No web site. He really doesn’t need one.
I’m not sure what exactly the status is with ordering sets from Cillian at the moment…I haven’t spoken to him in about a year now…He is pretty backed up with orders…You might be able to get an order in for a chanter, but I’m not sure if he’s even taking on new orders for regulators or full sets at this point. Best to speak with him by phone.

PS-- You may also want to inquire with Mickey Dunne, one of Cillian’s ex-apprentices. His instruments are very similar to Cillian’s and the wait time, though on the way up, is still a bit shorter, I believe. I’m pretty sure he has a website.
Dunne’s waitingtime was about 8 months for chanter, don’t know what delivery time is
now, seems that he’s quite busy with his pipeteaching and his band.
Will GW be around in 20 years time? Only a 20 year wait will tell…certainly his legacy will regardless!
Froment’s waiting list is now 14 years. He’s anyway still taking orders. No deposit too. (don’t know if he used to do or not..)
