So what’s on your wish list? CD(s)? Tune books? New gadgets? 
On the top of my Christmas list is the new cd from Angelina Carberry and Martin Quinn. Then, on the day after Christmas, I wake up playing banjo like Angelina Carberry. Thats a tall one for Santa. I better go practice now. lol
A new brain from Curry’s …
The skill to play my whistles well in session. If I get to be particularly greedy, ditto for flute.
In things that money could buy? Burke Al-Pro whistles in D & Bb, or an Overton Low D, or a M&E R&R model flute.
Time and talent to take up the fiddle.
Failing that, a really BIG-ass piano accordion tuned so wet you need to play it with a mop. Oh, and reverb. Reverb is good. 
Keep on fiddling Nano. 
Why do I play so many instruments? Because I’m sure that the two instruments I’d perhaps most love to learn, Uilleann pipes and fiddle, would require full-time dedication, and I’m not about to throw away half a lifetime’s effort learning all the others.
So Santa, please give me a decent flute embouchure … and throw in a keyed Copley, Grinter or Olwell. Oh and a good B/C box in swing tuning would be nice too.
Hmmm.. I would love a flute for Yule.
And perhaps a few hours of quietude where I could be completely undisturbed by human beings. Yes, it’s a mother’s dream.

An Eb/D# key sure would be nice on my Seery…as would a G#, Bb and Fnat…so would the money to pay for them.
On the more realistic side, I’m hoping for a CD of Ozark fiddle music put out by the Missouri Department of Conservation. I think it would be fun to check out some local tunage derived from the Irish/Scottish background of so many of the settlers in the area.
