Christmas mp3s for Chiffers

In gratitude for the excellent whistle help and advice I have received from all you fine Chiffers, a modest Christmas offering of some whistle-related mp3s.

I enjoyed those very much… thank you for sharing them, and Happy Holidays to you and yours!

Thanks, Mr. Raindog. Just for fun, anyone want to guess what kind of whistles those are? Should be easy…

Come, now: No one wants to guess? Hint: Midwestern maker.

There’s a little distortion (mp3) on the peaks but sounds like Burkes to me. Could also be Hoovers, it’s hard for me to tell between those two once a whistle is amplified.

Congratulations. Burkes indeed.

The high D is the brass session. The low D (not as easy to hear in the mix) is the Viper.

Would love to find sheet music for Mo Nigheann Donn Gradh Mo Cridh .
Can anyone help?

I found the tune on Clips and Snips and transcribed it, then re-harmonized and arranged it for low whistle, violin, cello, and recorder. It could work well in any number of instrumental combinations, but those were the people I had handy.

I have it as a Finale file. Send me a PM and we can figure out a way to get it to you, even if that means printing it and mailing it.

Cheers.
