I just figured I’d remind you As for Melissa Etheridge, no, I didn’t realise she had done a version. I may have to find that one. I love her 
That song is one of those that should have never been done by anyone but Dolly(although I guess it does make her a big ole pile o’money). Whitney’s version is impressive, until you’ve heard the original.
Well, I like Whitney’s version better because I heard it first. I then heard Dolly’s, which I like almost as much, and then Etheridge’s which really is a different song and doesn’t compare in my opinion.
