Chris Norman's C-natural

Can’t remember who asked or which thread, but it was about the C-nat that Chris Norman uses.
He has a regular 8-key flute (Cameron copy of his Rudall). And Chris favors and uses a 1/2-hole of LH1 for his C-natural, and bends notes to it and out of it.
You’d hear that quite clearly on Track 2 of his new work, The Caledonian Flute, at start of Lend Me Your Loom, Lass (the air portion of a two part work…an air and reel).
Amazing control of pitch and tone.

'Twas I, Dave, not sure which thread either. I suspected a slide into a half-hole, but being almost totally ignorant of flutes with Cnat keys thought it might be some funky thing like opening the Cnat key with LH2 down and sliding up.

Thanks!
