choosing a pipemaker

I’m looking for advise and opinions on pipemakers.I’m in the market for a full set D .I’m thinking about kevin thompson,martin preshaw,brendan ring, andreas rogge, charles roberts, dave williams, des seery .I’m in the 6000 euro bracket any one in europe really

I think you need to hear some sets from these makers and decide what sound you are looking for.

Personally, I like Rogge, but he is my own personal favorite. I like the loud volume and the way his sets are so in tune. I know others each have their own favorites, though.
