I haven’t played a full flute made by Chris but he made a mopane unlined hj for my Rudall & Rose and it plays beautifully. In fact I liked it so much that I sold off a couple of very nice antique flutes and got on his waiting list 
. Definitely one of my two favorite makers.
I just recieved a keyless boxwood in D from Chris and love it! It has good volume, love the tone, easy to play faster than the other flutes I have owned. And it’s light! J.
I got mine in December (boxwood too) and absolutely love it. Same comments as Gasslaj, and it has a cracking bottom end too.
