In the Philippines, in the early Nineties, one could buy inexpensive crystal flutes, like Hall, but made in China.
Is anyone aware of these, and is there a U.S. importer?

I am from the Philippines but have never heard of these flutes. Any more details?

It was in JB Music, Harrison Plaza branch, probably 1992. I tried them, though at the time I was no transverse flute player.
They had up ads for them, announcing they had a new stock of Chinese crystal flutes, as if they were a popular item. They had more flowers on them than do the Hall Crystal Flutes. The piccolo was only about P100.
JB Music is still a great place for bargains. My mother got a great price on a beautiful banduria there not long ago.
