Chiff and Fipple: The Movie!

Who would you cast as:

Yourself?

The regulars?

The part of Congratulations will be played by a shirtless Jared Leto, because he’s almost as sexy as I am.

…and remember kiddies, not everone can be Father Jack Hackett

Where are we going to find someone to play me, an anthropomorphic sehlat? I would most likely end up playing myself.

Verp Tlethl

I would save myself for last in the credits as a cameo role. (lah!)

djm

Daffy Duck, of course.

I will be played by a tall glass of iced tea, with sugar and lemon.
Nanohedron will be played by a particularly bright looking tree.
Tyler will be played by Wishbone, the Jack Russell Terrier.
Izzy will be played by the succulent plant, commonly known as hen and chicks.
Dale will be played by the little green buddha, currently sitting in my kid’s fish tank.
Bloomfield will be played by the silhouette of Alfred Hitchcock.
Flydood will be played by a DeSoto.
Susnfx will be played by a scale model of the Statue of Liberty.

I could go on, but I’ve got to go get my kid.

I would be played by old whats-his-name…you know…the bright, chubby guy…no, no him…not him either…he’s chubby, dangit!..what?

???

Whad’ya mean, there’s no bright, chubby actors in Hollywood, anymore?

Naomi Watts

She was really good in Huckabees.

Gary Kelly will be played by a Common Palm Civet.

I don’t know why, but in my mind scottielvr is associated in some way with the name “Corky”. It’s really odd. My vision is not complete enough to tell whether she actually is a “Corky” or if she simply has some relationship with a “Corky”.
In any case:

…

Here is Shirley Temple playing with her…Here is Darlene Gillespie playing a very cool little
sweet little Scottie named Corky…dudette named Corky with her loyal companion White Shadow.

One of these four beings should play scottielvr. I am so fond of all of them I really could not pick  .

That’s easy, I’d get Dom Deluise to play me.

an orotund bearded shadow would be visible on the wall, in the style of Hitchcock. Except his shadow never played the whistle, to my knowledge.

I’d like to be played by Julia Child.

I wonder if that chicken (turkey?) she’s playing sounds anything like bagpipes…

I think it woul be very difficult to find someone in Hollywood suitable for the part of Walden.

The part of Walden will be played by a pond.

Heh. Shirley Temple’s…uh, not a good fit, for so many reasons I couldn’t possibly enumerate them here. For entirely different reasons I don’t think I’d go with Darlene Gillespie, either. I know nothing about the “Corky” character she played (the only useful info I found in a quick search was that she was “headstrong and brave,” which is about half right); but judging from the pic, I’m sort of charmed by the idea. The hat would have to go, though. Either Corky the Scottie or White Shadow would be just fine; though White Shadow really should sport a bandana. Either of them could play my part with all the subtlety and nuance called for by the role.
