The Chieftains were a good time tonight. One of the guests was again Natalie McMaster. Local guests were 2 local bands, Clan Ceili and Clandestine. A lot of symphony people there as it was at their venue, Jones Hall, newly reopened since the floods in June. Paddy played whistle quite a bit and the sound/acoustics were very professional. The airs he played literally brought tears to my eyes, partially because he told about playing whistle at Ground Zero. How about a lighter note? He also did a stupid whistle trick making it sound like a cell phone ringing…
