Just got it brand new from Phil Hardy last week for 165 British pounds, but pain in my left hand is just too much to stand, so I’ll play a little catch-and-release.
Phil’s happy to take it back and refund my money but it would be less expensive to find a buyer stateside. If anyone wants it, please let me know. It’s brand new, no dings, super player, great tone, all that stuff. Looks just like the ones on his website. Can also provide references from other C&F’ers who I’ve done good bidness with in the past.
$200 gets it to your door in a couple of days.
cheers,
Gordon
This whistle is, sadly, back up for sale.
I purchased it from Liney Bear only to discover that my hands are simply too small to effectively cover the holes, regardless of the technique. I am also unwilling to unnaturally stretch or contort my hand in any way, as I make my living from them.
This is a beautiful instrument and the condition is as described in the previous post. It’s $200.00 US and that includes over-night shipping to the continental United States.
If anyone has a suggestion for a quality low-D that can be played with someone whose finger span is 6.5 inches (outside of thumb to outside of ring finger), then I’d love to hear about it in a p.m.
Thanks!
