Cherish the Ladies to play in Little Rock this Friday

Cherish the Ladies will be playing in Little Rock Fri May 6th 2005 @ 7:30pm at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Little Rock. This is a presentation of the Little Rock Folk Club.

Another great concert so soon after Craobh Rua was presented by the ACMS!!!

OT
I was gust trying to find out how to spell apreseate but the spell check did not give me any clues, then I went to a search engine and wrote “apreseate your wife” and it said “appreciate your wife”.

I guess cherish would have worked. Still it seems weird to have a word association like that spelled out to you.

PS Oh crap, I’m being sappy.

VERY, VERY DEFINITE OBLIGATORY POST!

I will see if I can sneak off from work early on Friday, and try to be there! I can hardly wait!

Shannon and I will be there. Please look us up! We’d love to meet you.

–James

I’m going to try to make it as well.

Cool!

This’ll be my first time to hear them live. I’m really looking forward to it!!!

–James

Look for a big guy with short hair, glasses and a Winfield T-shirt. That would be me!

Well, now I’m having major car trouble, so I may not be going anywhere anytime soon. :frowning:

I’m sorry, Jen.

If ya’ll would care for a ride, Shan and I are going and could take you with us.

Ya’ll are skinny folks, you’d fit in the backseat easy.

I hope your car trouble turns out to be quickly and inexpensively resolvable.

–James

Would you like to meet for dinner? Or a parking lot session at the auditorium? Or both?

Pending approval from Shannon, absolutely!!!

I’ll have a flute / whistle in the car…and I’m almost always hungry…sounds like a good plan to me!

–James

I assume that the tickets are general admission and are being sold at the door, so an early entry will be advantageous.

Also, as far as food goes, something fast and cheap (e.g. the Purple Cow) would be perfectly OK, even though I’ve got the cash for an “upgrade”.

WWWWWWWWWWWWWAhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

It’s too far! I can’t afford it! Wahhhhhhhhh

I hope (!!!) Joanie will be sporting something new for her whistles. (see my new avatar)

edited to correct spelling (I do occaisionally) and to add the hopeful hint.

Thank you very much, James. I’ll keep that in mind.

Well, we have to get a new car; does that count? Basically, we decided that when either of our cars got to a point where it would cost more to fix it than it was worth, we would replace it. We’re at that point with mine! Funny, I always thought David’s car would be the first to go.

Ouch!!!

My condolences on the loss of your car. That’s rough. :sniffle:

One trait both Shannon and I share: either of us goes a bit insane when we are without a car for any length of time. I really sympathize.
