It’s still 2004 here, only about 10:00 p.m. Here in Fairbanks Alaska, New Year’s Eve is the occasion for a big community fireworks display. (It doesn’t get dark enough to do it on July 4.) We went to that as usual, in spite of the whining from the 10-year-old who doesn’t like it. (I tell her it’s good to grow up with some traditions you don’t like, so you know what you want to do differently when you’re grown up. :laughing: )

So, greeting to all of you from the end of the day, the end of the year (and some might say the end of the world, though we love it here!)
