Ruadhrai O’Kane comes from outside Dungiven in Co Derry and has lived in Belfast, Co Antrim since starting university in 1995. Ruadhrai played fiddle with traditional Irish music group Óige for over 10 years to wide critical acclaim. In this time the band produced 3 albums together and toured extensively through Ireland, UK, Europe and beyond. Currently Ruadhrai teaches fiddle and plays traditional sessions, festivals and folk club gigs.
Shane Mc Aleer from Omagh Co Tyrone. All Ireland champion 1991.Joined Dervish the same year,played with them for 7 years,Recorded 4 albums with them.New band Pigeon Top,album should be released in spring.
Conor Caldwell is playing from a very young age. He was awarded a firste class honours in music from QUB last year and is presently engaged in a masters. He learned his craft from Rory O Kane, Dónal Ó Connor and Martin Dowling. He was invited to attend a series of workshops given by James Byrne which explains his love of the music of South West Donegal.
