Hi all,
I find at the last minute that I can go to the tionol, and was wondering if anyone knows of any cheap places to stay (and by cheap, I don’t mean places with hourly rates. Just someplace I won’t get stabbed.) 
I’m not above sleeping on couches, porches, doghouses, or front yards either. I’ll even sleep in my car if I have a place to park.

I’m sharing a room at the Best Western on Ortega Highway in San Juan Capistrano. The total for the two nights was $217.00, so about $54/night shared. Unless you’re willing to commute a fair distance, its a fairly pricey area, but I’ve stayed at this hotel for previous tionols and it was serviceable enough.
I found a hotel on hotwire for $49 a night in the Laguna Hills area, and one for $60 a night in Lake Forest. They are suppossed to be 12 miles away, but not knowing CA very well, I’m not sure if 12 miles = 1 hour drive or not
Do you know if anyone else was looking to share a room? I would like to make it to the tionol, since I missed the NE tionol this year. (I just happen to be out this way from NY).
