I’d just like to say that if you ever go into the chat room, and I’m there, and I don’t respond right away, wait around for a few minutes (like 10-15) 'cause I’ll be right back.

(Psst… this is for brigitte and Peggy… and any others who have left just as I checked back)

Also, I’m sure it applies to a few people who leave it running in the hopes someone will show up eventually.

Usually we talk about food or personal happenings. We do discuss music, but not exclusively.

Mabey it’s just that everybody in chat loves each another?

I don’t see Cran in the chatroom a lot but we always enjoy when he comes in. Those of us who are regular chatters in Chiffy, enjoy a great comraderie and talk about everything and anything. I have learned a great deal there not only about music, but about a surprising array of other things. I never find any silences awkward in there..often we’ve all gone to check out a link someone has mentioned or watch a music video or even read a particular forum thread, so we may not respond right away if someone comes in. But it has been an extremely enjoyable and friendly place for me to chat and we always like to see new people come in..as well as many “old” friends who only come in from time to time.

I used to be in there just about every night…but lately I’ve not been able to be in there at the right times (due to a little thing called “sleep” :stuck_out_tongue:).

Moon, I’ve always wondered why/how you’re so active in chat yet still have fewer than 50 posts!

Hehe..Cran..I like “live action” chat and most of what I have to say gets said in chat… :slight_smile:

There is regular chatting going on? Everytime I check these days there’s nobody there! :cry: I haven’t had a good laugh in a long time, must make a note to check more often…

Usually from about 11:00pm Walden’s Time until around 3:00am, there are lots of people in there. :slight_smile:

Hmmm…that would be midnight onwards here. Too late for my blood!

Me, too, lately. There was a time when I was in there every day (night). A large portion of “regulars” live in more westerly time zones.
