I was just thinking how Darwin is always referred to as a “naturalist.” But really, in all his pictures that I’ve seen he is fully dressed. I’m glad of that.
Why? Guy was out in the Galapagos, fully dressed, always wearing a sunhat…
Poor fella did suffer from ill-health. Vitamin D deficiency from lack of sunlight on the skin was probably a contributory factor.
He may have actually been a ‘Closet’ naturist.
