JUst got a CD of Charles Aznavour…it’s all in French…but I like it 
I can’t believe tastes in Europe. Asnavour was incredibly awful, and would do these unbelievably horrid concerts with Nana Mouskouri, who was also incredibly bad, but not quite as horrid as Asnavour (I think she was studying to be bad under his tutelage). What’s with people over there? These are the same folks who propelled David Hasselhoff into super stardom, and revelled in Abba. It makes me cringe to think about it. 'Scuse me gotta … blrrrp … mmmmph …

I forgot about the musical.
Credit where it is due though, Abba have produced many wonderfully crafted pop songs that often brighten up the airwaves. I don’t have any of their albums but I would not jump up to turn the radio off when they come on

Lynda Lemay?? Roch Voisine?? I think I might have heard the name of Roch Voisine … once … These are really small time people who play to an isolated market here, similar to Celine Dion when she started. Who knew the Americans would go nuts over her?
