I was just channel surfing when I came across a move titled “The Whistler”. Initially I got a bit excited only to find that the 1944 flick starring Richard Dix, is about a morose man who puts out a “contract” on himself and then relents - too late.
So my fellow whistle enthusiasts, don’t get yourselves all pumped up should you see this listed among program offerings. Hey, it might still be a great film?
