Since I would find it difficult to remain on-topic regarding the video, I’ll try to stray not-too-far off-topic regarding the thread title. I often wonder about people who are carried around on litters.
When I talk about this, I usually have to describe a litter first. Here’s a picture.

I am guessing that the first person to be carried on a litter was a hunter who got injured during a hunt. I have lots of theories on how that evolved into carrying royalty and ceremonial leaders. If it was actually a good paying job with benefits, I would not mind hiring people to carry me.
It is really beautiful, and between the bells, musicians and flying dancers, a true study in ‘no visible means of support’.
I can’t help wondering what Beethoven would have made of it. The insubstantial seating arrangements were a little distracting. Must watch it again.
