By some trick of fate, I will be in Dallas, TX this weekend (a wedding thing). I just found out that there will be a festival 12 miles NE of Fort Worth off US 183. Is anybody here going there. The acts seem to be real local but nothing seems overly corny (all green beer & shamrocks, learn jigs from books in true 6/8 time kind of thing). It’s only $7 a day, so even if it stinks, it’s no great loss.
Now all I have to do is convince my Sig. Other and her Brother and Sister-in-law to go with me (only 1 rental car).
Anyways, if anyone is going, it might be a good chance to meet more C&F’ers.
