An Cumann Ceilteach, the student celtic club of University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee is hosting a ceili this Saturday night, 10/02/04. Here are the details from a club newsletter:

NEAR CORNER OF DOWNER & HARTFORD
COST: NONE! IT’S FREEEEEEEE!
MUSIC: YES, LIVE IRISH BAND.
FOOD: YES, SWEETS & TEA. (FREE)

Whistlers/Flautists should note that Asher Grey is playing in the band.

Love to be there; unfortunately already committed to taking care of the grandkids. They’d probably love it too but the timing is wrong.

I’ll have to think about the gathering at Kewaunkee. It’s very tempting but my presence will depend on how much work I can get done this week :slight_smile:

The ceili last night was a blast. The Celtic Club hosts at least one a month, so I’ll keep everyone posted. I believe the next one is a samhain/halloween tie in on October 28 (costumes welcome and invited!).
