Catherine McEvoy will giving a workshop and performing in St.Louis at the the TIONOL April 3,4, and 5. All the details are at www.tionol.org or contact me off list at mmullins@tionol.org.
Wahooooo! I’ve been wishing she’d teach somewhere in the midwest area! I’m “in like Flynn!” I hope! It even falls during my school’s spring break!!

(I had to re-register my account name here on C&F, because I couldn’t figure out how to get into my old account with the new system…)
Lucky you! I don’t think she has any plans to come to California…
this is like you are starting over at C&F! Are you going to have to learn to play the flute again? ![]()
Good to see ya back, girl! ![]()
Now I’m torn. Pipes or Catherine’s class. Pipes, or Catherine’s class. … sigh. Like you, I’ve been hoping to take a class from her someday!
I was lucky enough to have a week with her at Friday Harbor last spring. She is someone who offers a LOT in teaching, with both tunes and the people learning them. She’s not only gifted, she also gives.

Jon, I HOPE I don’t have to start learning the flute all over again! Though I confess, I’ve been “Boehm-izing” a bit more lately. I may have to!!
Thanks, Cathy. I hope to make the next session. I’ll see how the weekend goes! ![]()

Skip Healy is coming in to do a workshop on simple flute maintenance and techniques.
Promises to be a great weekend.

There’s still plenty of room in all the classes.

I’ll be there - first time!
I’m really looking forward to a weekend of Irish music and will enjoy meeting C&F’ers face to face:)

Definitely a wonderful thing, not the least of which is the extraordinary multi-session
at McGurk’s on Sun.
Just to add that, down Big Bend Blvd, a couple of blocks north from where the classes will be,
is Music Folk, which is an excellent folk musical instrument store–with flutes, whistles,
banjos, mandolins, guitars and lots of other neat stuff. Worth a visit during lunch.
