All,

I received my Casey Burns Boxwood Rudall today!!! All I can say is WOW! I also have to say that Casey is probably the most under-appreciated under-rated maker today, period.

I’m going to try and take some pictures this weekend. I don’t have a digital so it will probably be a week or so before I get them developed and put on CD. I have to figure out how to host pictures so I can add to the ‘flute porn’ thread with pictures of my flute family. :slight_smile:

I plan on writing more after I get a little friendlier with this fine stick, but until then I will say; if you’re thinking of getting a Burns, do it! And if you’re thinking of getting a stick from someone else? Think about a Burns; you wont be disappointed.

I like it. It’s more round then my Hammy, but it’s an easy blower. Very very nice sound…

I agree with you that Casey Burns makes a fine flute! I too have a boxwood Rudall (small hands flute). It has a great sound and ornamentation is crisp when played on this flute.
