Carpel Tunnel

I have the first signs of CTS and I’m interested in finding exercises one might do before picking up the whistle.

I also have problems with my hands falling asleep after about 15 minutes of playing.

Any ideas?

There have been some lengthy threads
about this in the past, and if you
search the records you should find
some info. Or hopefully someone more
computer literate than myself can
point you to the place.

There are people called ‘hand therapists’
who I consulted when I had such
difficulties–they specialize in
teaching folks how to recover from them
and avoid them in the future. If all else
fails I suggest you find one. Best wishes,
Jim

I have CTS and RSI. I have some finger gloves made for sewers and knitters called handease gloves which help a lot. It also can help if you develop Ganglions on top of the hand.I also use a wide leather bracelet which goes over my wrist. This restricts the thumb to some extent.

I’ve heard that Vitamin B6 helps.
