I’ve got a Carbony two-pice F flute and the headjoint fits onto the barrel without any sort of O ring or tuning slide (just carbon fiber onto carbon fiber.) I’d like to take the head off to store it in a roll but it’s really quite difficult to take on and off.
Does anyone know whether it’s supposed to come off more easily? I have some cork grease and some tenon wax- any thoughts on whether either is unsafe for carbon fiber?
