Captain Picard's Air

I have been playing this for a while. And the other day I saw a rerun of the show. In the show he tongues every note. While in the composition with orchestra she tongues only after taking a breath. I wanted to know. Which version you all prefer. I can decide which one I think sounds better.

Like me, Captain Picard’s got no 'Air.

I tend to like legato.

In the air, I have decided that I don’t the part where it repeats the opening measures after the first section finishes. I don’t like the transition. I’m thinking there should have been a bridge there, or maybe started not with the same notes as the opening but with something a little different, then go to the echoing of the opening to take it to the end, which is very nice. Actually I’m thinking the song is a little too short and needs a bridge before it gets to the run to the end.

I don’t know, may be I’m picky. I still like playing it.

Doesn’t really matter, as it’s not a very interesting tune.

Well, that’s my point. It could be a lot nicer if that middle was fixed up a bit.
