Cap Diameter

Hi all
Would anybody can give me the cap diameter, cause mine is 19mm ID and i think that´s the reason for many troubles with jumping octaves of the upper hand.
The same reed works pretty fine in a KEvin Thompson set.

Cap diameter should not account for octave difficulties.

Reeds aren’t interchangeable. Are the octaves in tune with this reed?
