On the web-site of Hamish Napier (http://www.hamishnapier.com/projects/marc-duff-hamish-napier-duo/) there’s a music sample marked “Donal Lunny Slow Air.” If indeed the tune is actually called “Donal Lunny” then where can it be found on CD? Otherwise can you identify it please? Many thanks.
No idea of the air. Donal Lunny is, of course, the bououki player and founder of Planxty inter alia, and I’d guess the tune has a proper name. Sounds like something from the Moving Hearts or Coolfin days.

Yeah, there is some nice playing on the samples. I particularly like Two Days To Go played by Hamish, I think, (since Marc Duff would be on bouzouki).
But I posted the same question on Sessions.org and I’m told the air is called Declan from Donal’s CD St Patrick 2000. I’ve yet to listen to both and compare them.
