So far, Leo Rowsome, Felix Doran, John Rooney, Finbar Furey and Johnny Doran have been discussed.
Johnny Doran can clearly be ruled out, and I personally think it is neither Rowsome nor Felix Doran nor Finbar Furey - not at all sure about John Rooney.
Would anyone here know for certain?

As the image in the video suggests the recording was taken from Alen MacWeeney’s ‘Irish travellers’ . I’d highly recommend the book (and the CD included), if you’re into that sort of thing. It’s (a teenage) Paddy Keenan playing Sliabh na mBan.

Again, I highly recommend having alook at Alen MacWeeney’s book Irish Travellers, Tinkers no more and the lovely tv film Traveller about his time from1965 to 1970 shooting the photos and recording the music.

Do you know if the the CD comes with the hardcover only, or also with the paperback version?

It wasn’t really a link to the film but rather to a synopsis : http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0493316/. I tried to fix the link in the other post but couldn’t get it to work in that form so I replaced it with a link to another site.

Don’t know about the CD and the paperback edition. I’d say probably but better check that.
