Calling Michigan-area pipers!

We have an informal, friendly uilleann piping club that meets in the greater Detroit area, drawing participants from all over Michigan and beyond.

We’re having a bit of a ‘Welcome Night’ on Sept 8th at 7:30pm in Pleasant Ridge, MI and are trying to encourage any pipers in the area who haven’t been out to one of our semi-monthly “Pipers’ Night” gatherings to come on out, and join us for some tunes and talk! There’s nothing formal or structured to the club or our gatherings. Just a social gathering to swap tunes, tips and tribulations in an open format. Though there are usually one or two teachers (including C&F’er NicoMoreno) on hand for private lessons during the gatherings if you’re looking for some more formal instruction.

I would have guessed you knew every piper in driving distance…

 I think I know most of them, but there are always surprises…

There are lots of rocks in Michigan; who knows what lurks beneath? :smiling_imp: Wish I lived closer!

We wish you lived closer too!
