C-whistle recommendation?

My bag of flutes and whistles were stolen this year, and I’ve been slowly replacing them. I had a Susato C that I would rather replace with something different. I like a quiet, mellow tone, and a sweet 2nd octave.
I’m enjoying my new low D Reyburn, & low E Goldfinch. Also have a Copeland D & Killarney D that are top notch. Thanks for opinions.

You might want to check out Jerry Freeman’s tweaked vintage Generation C whistles. He posted a day or two ago in this thread saying that he has some available.

The very first whistle I bought, in 1975, was a Generation C. Over the years its head got cracked and chipped, so I asked Jerry to put a new head on it. It sounds really great and is my all-around favorite whistle, although the original one was a bit quieter and more focused in the second octave, which I prefer.

The Freeman vintage Gen for sure.
But if that’s too expensive his Blackbird C might do very well.

It was a Blackbird that was stolen, so it makes sense to “upgrade” to the vintage C. Thanks , I just purchased the penultimate…
