I had a chance to play vaporlock’s smallpipes at the recent San Francisco whistle meet, and my wife has agreed to let me buy a set!

So far I’ve figured out that I want to get a set in D, and that I want them to be lung powered. That’s about as far as I’ve gotten. Oh yeah, and I want to stay in the $500US range.

I’m waiting to hear from vaporlock about who he bought his pipes from, and found a set online from a place called Misty Glen for $475. Does anyone know anything about the pipes from Misty Glen?

I am looking for any advice/suggestions on buying a set of smallpipes. All information is greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Aldon
