I recently acquired a Busman whistle from a fellow C&F’er. While I greatly admired its looks, the tone left something to be desired.
Too breathy and shrill in the upper octave. I was in contact with Paul Busman at the time and he told me to send him the whistle.
He returned the whistle in just over a week. It plays like a dream. It now has a new fipple and he even touched up the finish…
and all this at no charge on a used whistle that I got from someone else!!!
In this day and age, finding someone who will stand behind their product like this is truly rare.
Paul has received much praise on this board and he is truly worthy of it.
