Burke pennywhistle or WD Sweet Model Pennywhistle

I can not decide, from web posts, which of these I like best; the Burke pennywhistle Brass, Composite, and WD Sweet Delrin Model. I would like to try them out. Does anyone know of a place(s) along the Wasatch Frount that carries these models so I can give them a play?

There’s really nothing at all along the Wasatch Front when it comes to high end whistles. The closest place would be to drive across the Idaho border and head up to Doc Jones’ store in Buhl. (I live in Hawaii, but have lived near Bear Lake and in Provo and visit the Wasatch Front often.)

also, this is why the used instrument exchange is so full of life here. people buy a burke and a Sweet, and then sell the one they liked a little bit less.
not the most economical way to go, but often the only option.

I have never been to doc’s store, but I can say he is a delight to work with. He has never steered me wrong and has always been prompt in his replies and mailings. If you have a chance to work with him you will not be disappointed.
