Burger King AD

Whistle

I have noticed that there is an advert for Burger King at the top of this page.
If you eat this kind of food you should see this.

IMO there is no place for this kind of ad on a whistle site.

Install Adblock plus. You’ll never see them again.

There is no place for this kind of political statement on this whistle site. Please review our C&F CCCP forum rules. Thanks.

Also please note:

  1. We have no control over which Google ads are displayed. Appearance here does not imply endorsement of or affiliation with the advertiser.

  2. The particular Google ads you see are determined by your own browsing behavior, not by us. Everyone sees different ads. If you don’t like the ads you see, you can change your own browsing habits. Or you can customize your Google ads cookie to better suit your tastes.

  3. I’m sure many people do use ad blockers. But please consider that Google ads are our sole source of financial support. Paying for the Chiffboard is not terribly expensive, but it’s not free either. We don’t ask for member contributions. We don’t ask for commissions on sales of instruments, as other sites do. We don’t display multiple ads. We think one banner ad at the top, where it is easily scrolled out of the way, is mininally intrusive, and it helps keep Dale’s generous out-of-pocket expenses to a minimum. Click-throughs (or not) are always your choice.

Thanks.
