Those are increadbly ugly, if you ask me.
His new design is compare to this on heaven on earth. This is probably very early work.
I’ve just been speaking to Brian and he tells me that this set of regs used to look quite different, with the keys being much longer. One owner cut them back for some reason and also bent them all over the place hence the strange apperance.
Just won the bidding at £365. Not bad, considering the price of his new regs and the waiting time. I’m sure they’ll cost me more to get working, and yes, looking nice again, but when I’ve picked 'em up I’ve got a full set.

Just picked them up from the seller. Quite staggered at the good nick they are in. Once the keys are restored to their old shape and size,other refurbishment is done and they are nickel plated to match my half set, they should be top regs. I hope post a pic of the drawings Brian did of them when they were built, in the 1980’s, to give you all an idea how they are supposed to look.
I am not complaining though, if they hadn’t been hacked about, I probably would have been outbid.
