He plays them all 
He has Bb and D (and I think Eb) wooden flutes and many other bamboo flutes in various keys… As far as I know, he also has every major whistle key.

When I saw him recently in Milwaukee, he was definately using keys that I can’t find on any of my whistles. I loved every key he used that night. A great performance!
Brian also had a disquieting tendancy to write tunes in wierd time signatures like 7/8. So if you hear tunes in 7/8 on an Ab whistle, chances are it’s Brian.
His whistle case is so big, I mistook it for a piano accordian case.

I’ll do my part here.
I do worry about the disquietingly fetishistic nature with which whistle players admire the size of each other’s instruments. Just a female perspective on the phenomenon. Mind you, it does sound like he has a big one.

Just stir fry the onions and then add the spices. I usually use my own mix of koriander, cumin and curcuma.
