For you bodhran players out there- the next time some complainer starts, haul out a brake drum instead.
We’ve got a percussion part in a tune our orchestra is playing that is for “brake drum”. It’s an automobile brake drum that we (drummers) ended up using hammers to play. 
What fun! 
Instead of laying crossed swords on the ground, you could carefully place your brake drum on the ground and dance around it - brake dancing.
