Cool. Does he have a “bloopers” show? ![]()
I love being deceived like this.
I figured out the hands-flipping thing, but the rest of it is beyond my simple understanding.

We get to see a lot of Barry on Irish tv, he’s good. Family went to see him in Ennis a few years ago and thought him brilliant.
Keith Barry rocks. He’s one of my favourite illusionists. I don’t know if you get him on tv in the states, but over here his show “Close Encounters” is on Channel 5 every weekend ![]()
I’ve never seen him on American TV.
Sai Baba, the guru from the South of India, has
extraordinary powers. When you go to see him
he looks at you and then hands you a necklace
made of gold, with your name on it. If you think,
gee, that’s nice, but I prefer silver, he says:
please give me back the necklace. Then he
hands you another necklace in silver, with your
name inscribed on it. The necklaces appear out
of nowhere in his hands.
When I was in the South of India I met a man
who told me emphatically that Sai Baba was
a ‘fraud.’
‘He doesn’t materialize the necklace out of nothing
as he pretends!’ the man exclaimed.
‘No. He has a big warehouse in Bombay with thousands
of necklaces with all sorts of names on them.
When you arrive, he reads
your mind, gets your name, and with his mind
transfers the necklace from the warehouse
to his hand!’
Yeah, that’s much easier! Of course, if he could read your mind, he’d know you preferred silver!
