Charles Roberts is alive and well and is continuing with his pipemaking. His son Alan is playing the pipes like a demon - he did three gigs in one afternoon at Boulegan, not to mention the evening sessions.

I haven’t been in touch with them since 1998 when I spent some time with them in Sligo. I have repeatedly sent emails and tried phoning them with no results.
Did you get any photos of them while there?
I am still waiting for Alan’s long promised CD. Any word on that?
I am very glad to hear that they doing well.
