Borja Baragaño - New album available

I released a new CD, my first Solo album.
I recorded it during the last year in Asturies and the album contains Asturian, Irish, Scottish, Breton tunes and one Swedish and one Bulgarian traditional tune. I´m very happy to be able to present my project that I realized with the collaboration of my very talented asturian friends.
Here you watch the album teaser and the musicians

And you can here read something about me and my music and purchase the album if you want to.

Hope you like it.

That’s some tremendous playing IMO. Congratulations on the release.

I’ll second that! Great playing and beautiful music! I listened to the video you linked and to the first track you posted on your website.

Is there a track listing for the new CD available on line anywhere? I’m curious about the origins of the tunes. I know virtually nothing about Asturian music, but would like to learn more. I expect I’ll buy your CD.

Thank you guys. The tunes that I play, for example, in the track that I posted in the website were composed by me, Yago Prado and Rubén Bada, I mean, these are new asturian tunes but I play traditional asturian tunes as well. I’ve recorded a track, for example, that I 've named “Session set”, with a couple of my favourites irish tunes, a set of Dañs Plinn, with my favourites breton tunes…
The asturian music rocks, but unfortunately we are not very famous, though we have very talented musician and bands!

Having heard an early pre-master version that already was SO good, the finished CD must be just perfect!

Herzlichen Glückwunsch Borja! Wann sehen wir uns mal wieder? Ich brauche eine CD

Thank you Steffen. I’m very happy with the album, it was a long but successful journey.
Wir fahren im Dezember nach Hamburg, es gibt da “eine besondere Session”. Es wäre schön, wenn wir uns da zum spielen treffen könnten.

Will try to be there! Zahnarzt on the same day :frowning: hope it works out good!

Fantastico!
